For over 100 years, West Coast University has been educating and preparing students for professional careers. Today, WCU is committed to a unique student-centric approach to advanced healthcare education—combining critical thinking with hands-on experience to put our students “ahead of the curve.”
Across our six modern facilities in Southern California, Texas, and Florida, we offer focused undergraduate degree programs in nursing and dental hygiene, as well as master's and doctorate programs in nursing, health administration, occupational therapy, physical therapy and pharmacy.
At West Coast University, we embrace a student-centric learning partnership that leads to professional success. We deliver transformational education within a culture of integrity and personal accountability. We design market-responsive programs through collaboration between faculty and industry professionals. We continuously pursue more effective and innovative ways through which students develop the competencies and confidence required in a complex and changing world.
Over the past century, WCU has steadily grown and evolved into a leading healthcare education institution. In 1997, the University was reorganized under the leadership of our Chairman, David Pyle, and in 2004 educating healthcare professionals became our singular focus.
West Coast University campuses all feature advanced simulation technology and hands-on learning—designed to develop the next generation of leadership.
Although no school can guarantee employment, the purpose of the Career Services Department is to actively assist students and graduates in preparing for the interview process.
West Coast University is accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC).
